Life & Risk Cover
Life, Disability & Critical Illness Cover
Plan for your family's income, the debts to settle and the cost of being unable to work. We start with your financial needs analysis, then compare suitable cover and explain its terms.
What is Life, Disability & Critical Illness Cover?
Life, disability and critical illness benefits address different needs. A policy total alone does not tell you what your family could receive, who would receive it, or when it would be available.
We review your existing policies and workplace benefits alongside your family, income and debts. Any recommendation explains the benefit definitions, exclusions, premiums and underwriting requirements.

Frequently asked questions
How much life cover do I actually need?
A salary multiple cannot establish that. We compare the income your family would need, debts, education and immediate costs with the resources actually available. Beneficiaries, bank cessions and workplace benefits all form part of the financial needs analysis.
My employer gives me group life cover. Do I still need a personal policy?
Not automatically. We first read your benefit statement, check which salary the benefit uses and what happens when you leave your employer. Your needs and the benefits already available determine whether additional cover is appropriate.
Will I need to do medicals?
That depends on the insurer, the benefit and your application. We explain any medical or financial evidence requested before you proceed.
Can I get cover with a pre-existing condition?
Often, yes — but the underwriting outcome varies between insurers. As independent brokers, we can shop your application across multiple insurers to find the best terms.
