Business & Employee Benefits
Group Life, Employee Benefits & Retirement
Look after your team and you keep them. We structure group life, retirement, and benefits programmes for Namibian SMEs and corporates — at pricing levels you can\'t access as an individual.
What is Group Life, Employee Benefits & Retirement?
Employee benefits are part compensation, part talent strategy, and part risk management. Done right, they reduce staff turnover, lower the company's liability if something goes wrong, and give your team peace of mind without you needing to be an expert in 12 different products.
We design benefit structures across the full spectrum — from a 5-person SME putting in basic group life, to a 200-person operation needing a full retirement fund, group disability, and medical aid scheme. Independent advice, market-wide comparison, and ongoing administration support.

Frequently asked questions
What's the smallest team you'll set up benefits for?
We've set up group life and funeral cover for as few as 3 employees. Underwriting tightens below 10 lives, but it's usually still significantly cheaper than individual policies.
Are employee benefits tax-deductible?
Generally yes — employer contributions to retirement funds and group risk schemes are deductible expenses, subject to the Namibian Income Tax Act limits. We work with your accountant to structure them correctly.
Can I keep my existing scheme and just have you administer it?
Yes — we take over broker servicing on existing schemes and handle renewals, claims, and member queries. Often we identify pricing or structural issues that the previous broker missed.
How do retirement fund contributions work for staff?
Typical structure: employer contributes 5–10% of salary, employee matches or adds. Funds invest the contributions through underlying portfolios chosen by the member. We handle the entire setup.
